David Kestenbaum is the Founder of Waldstar Real Estate, LLC and Waldstar Sales and Design. Over the course of 16 years in the industry he has formed a team that is at the cutting edge of real estate sales and marketing. Leading a global team of designers, architects, and tech savvy individuals -- David has created a platform that allows homeowners, developers, and landlords an immersive experience with regards to a space and its potential. David and his Sales and Design team are at the forefront of creative and innovative marketing for luxury listings. His disruptive marketing strategies have been developed in order to afford developers, homeowners, and associated stakeholders a more accurate representation of a property’s potential.
He is proud to say that his team’s work has proven to significantly decrease the time a property is sitting on the market. Using Waldstar’s services, owners of multi-million dollar luxury condos, co-ops, townhouses, and buildings -- whose previous listings had been on the market for 300+ days -- have successfully closed deals within 30-90 days. In September 2008, during the peak of the financial crises, David was hired to lead the repositioning of 257 Clinton Street, originally a 252 unit Section 8 housing building. David developed a breadth of experience after becoming the first broker to deal in luxury listings within the Two Bridges neighborhood. At the time the Two Bridges neighborhood was comprised of a large Section 8 and government housing population. With all odds against him, he quickly became known around Starrett Development’s office as their “secret weapon” as he managed to lease out an entire luxury residential building within a short period of time. Within those who understood the Two Bridges neighborhood during 2008, which is now one of the most newly developed neighborhoods in Manhattan, he is known as a pioneer of the Two Bridges luxury market. After six years of David’s work for the building, it was later sold for an outstanding 115 million dollars. He continued to exclusively broker entire large complexes such as 733 Amsterdam in Manhattan and 1500 Noble Avenue in the Bronx – both buildings were later sold.
Currently David and Waldstar operate as the exclusive broker, marketing company, and advisor for Provident Operating Corp in Rego Park, Queens for their entire 18 Building apartment complex. Beginning in 2014 David quickly developed a marketing and business plan for the entire 18 building, 540-unit complex to effectively increase the rent-roll and future revenue streams. David and Waldstar also work as a broker for RCR management. With David’s leadership Waldstar Sales and Design has served as the exclusive broker and marketing company for numerous landlords, developers, and homeowners. His team has created thousands of architectural renderings for an array of properties all over the NYC and the country. Constantly striving to offer sellers creative marketing services, Waldstar’s capabilities are second to none. With high value production marketing videos, unique website designs, architectural renderings ready for use in VR (virtual reality), and 360 VR-Ready panoramic walkthroughs – Waldstar has managed to shape the way certain properties sell, renovate, and develop in NYC.
